St. Cuthbert Mayne Performing Arts Academy is newly formed and recognises the importance of the arts in living life in all it's fullness. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible training in the three disciplines of Musical Theatre, singing, dancing, and drama. Our academy is dedicated to equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the highly competitive performing arts industry.

 

Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore different disciplines in a carousel format! Our Yr10 ambassadors will be there to support you as you spend thirty minutes in each discipline. Please note that the maximum group size is 15 per year group, and entry is by application and a successful audition. Don't miss out on this chance to discover your passions and talents!

Details of the audition workshops will be posted out to students who are shortlisted after application.

We expect successful members of the Performing Arts Academy to serve as learning mentors and ambassadors in their respective subject areas. Students are required to attend all sessions unless they have a valid reason for absence, perform in every production, and participate in theatre trips organised by the school.

Home learning in  all other subjects needs to be completed and as ambassadors, we expect your behaviour to be exemplary.
